LPHQ's Tier 1 certification in member service, Member Service Officers are trained as Immediate Responders. An immediate responder...

  • is empowered to assist the membership of a community in various ways
  • is principally concerned with the safety of people on property
  • has basic first aid training

Tier 1 training stresses member service and provides Immediate Responders with the responsive leadership skills that inspire confidence in your community's membership.

Immediate Responders with additional first aid capabilities, Primary Member Service Officers take an additional 30 hours of training.

The first 10 hours stresses how safety, security, loss prevention, and member service are essential member retention tools used to mitigate loss.

The next 20 hours includes a review of emergency first aid protocols and provides training in opioid overdose response, bleeding trauma, and advanced safety, security and loss prevention seminars.

 Immediate Responders with additional skills as emergency managers, Advanced Member Service Officers take an additional 40 hours of training. 

Member Service Qualification in Emergency Management. This one day seminar introduces learners to disaster response and and emergency management.

Incident Response. This 10 hr program includes an introduction to chain of command (2 hrs), a one day seminar in critical infrastructure (6 hrs), and an introduction to tabletop exercises.

Security of Data. This one day seminar provides learners with a strong background in data loss prevention and how member service may be used to mitigate such loss.

Security of Information. This one day seminar provides learners with a strong background in information loss prevention and how member service may be used to mitigate the damage to reputation that ensues.

A trusted member of your community, ideally a senior staff member or highly engaged volunteer, the Critical Member Service Officer undertakes 50 hours of training to learn how to effectively coordinate the loss prevention program your community undertakes.

Member Service Qualification in Peculiar Security. A three day program that introduces learners to immediate response management and includes materials on crime prevention  through environmental design and technical security, especially countermeasures used to mitigate unauthorised access to property (Day One). Followed by a two day program in Standard First Aid.

Member Service Qualification in Domain Intelligence. A three day program that builds a cogent business case for reputation management, website security, and standard cybersecurity protocols.
